Apple & Avocado Pureé

This creamy and rich blend is a little more filling and is perfect on those occasions when baby is a little hungrier than usual. One of the advantages of this recipe is its use of fresh fruits and vegetable with little cooking time. Avocados are great for little ones, providing monounsaturated fats for energy as well as essential B-vitamins, since and vitamin E to support their immune system.

2 small, peeled and cored apples

1 ripe avocado

1. Dice and steam the apples for about 8-10 minutes

2. Peel, pit and cut the avocado in chunk

3. Place avocado chunks and apples in a food processor or blender and process until smooth. Add a little water (once-boiled) as needed to thin as necessary.
